Karagiannis Racing got its start in sport compact drag racing over eight years ago. Dee started out with a 1993 Mazda RX7, which were both his daily driver and weekend racer. After many years of both bracket and heads up racing in 2002, Dee and Crew Chief Russ Turner built a RX7 that held the record for the world's fastest unibody RX7. Since then Dee has raced his 25.1e Outlaw RX7 in the highly competitive professional classes of both the major sport compact sanctioning bodies the NHRA and NDRA.
